Sancta Seraphina

Seraphina

…is an author & illustrator from New England.

She studied Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design and Oil Painting at Istituto Lorenzo de’Medici. She has a BFA in Illustration (2013), a Minor Degree in Scientific Illustration (2013), and an MFA in Illustration (2015). She is working intermittently towards another degree in Oil Painting. In addition to having taught illustration and visual design systems, she has also worked at Rhode Island School of Design and local art studios. She currently does freelance graphic design and photo editing for performing arts companies in Rhode Island.

Seraphina speaks & writes in English and knows basic Italian. She enjoys photography as a hobby and frequently travels to Italy to paint, photograph, and learn about art and religious history.

She has been a company dancer in a regional ballet for over a decade and lives with her cat, Dante.
